MATERIALS:
The Heirloom Screen Door Co. uses all clear, 5/4” poplar resulting in a finished door thickness of 1 1/16” and will stand proud of the typical brick mould by 1/16".

STILES:
The stiles (long vertical pieces) are 3-1/2" wide and the moulding which is added to the inside is 7/8" wide making the overall width 4-3/8".

RAIL:
Bottom rail is 7-1/2" with a 5" tenon and top rail is 5" wide with 3" tenon and the spindle rails are 1-3/4" with 1-1/2" tenon.

MOULDING:
The moulding is L shaped and adds 7/8” to the inside of all rails and overlays the face by 3/16" which adds considerable strength as well as functional good looks.
This moulding is 5/16” short of flush on the backside of stiles and rails which allow the screen moulding to be mounted flush.

SCREWS:
Threaded metal inserts and Stainless Steel screws are used to install the screen moulding.
